What is the school psychologist-to-student ratio? 1:2,550. National Association of School Psychologists recommends 1:1,000 ratio

Guidance counselors-to-student ratio differs according to student age. elementary school: 575:1, middle school: 453:1; high school: 451:1. American School Counseling Association recommends 1:250. 

How many conduct violations? 3,468 in 2006-07

What are the waiting lists for Full Service Schools of Jacksonville? 111 duplicated count of students will wait 5-6 months for therapeutic help.

How many people are homeless?  On any given day, 2,580 persons homeless on any given day-- 50% have recently experienced mental health problems.  (mayor's mental health task force)

Full Service Schools of Jacksonville 

 

We had 111 students on the waitlist in February.  Some will wait 5-6 months to receive counseling.

Currently, 4,208 Duval County 3 & 4 year-olds are enrolled at centers or family centers that are not within the Guiding Stars rating system.

Estimates from I don't know where because it came from FTU are that 100,000 Duval County residents lack health insurance. Of those, 19,699 are children. 13,789 Duval County children are uninsured and live in families whose income makes them eligible for Florida KidCare.
